TRUSTS
Trusts are a unique type of entity that can be used for many purposes. Some people set up intervivos trusts during their lifetime to manage assets or property, to shield some assets from probate administration, to own real estate, to own life insurance, to own interests in family assets or business, and for numerous other purposes. In other instances, trusts may be created in a will and may only come into existence if the conditions contained in the will (such as an heir who is less that 25 years old) are met. Some trusts are created for charitable purposes and others are set up for reasons unrelated to charitable goals.
Trusts can be revocable or irrevocable.
We can help with trust creation, trust administration, trust termination and when necessary trust litigation.
